Experienced Ontario Political Science Professor Charles Conteh
Based in St. Catharines, Canada, Charles Conteh is a professor of political science at Brock University in Ontario. Since joining the Department in 2009, Charles Conteh has focused his coursework and research on Canadian and comparative public policy, public administration, and political economy.
Moreover, Dr. Conteh has become knowledgeable about complex and dynamic policy systems, which is critical to his work regarding how different global economies reinvent in themselves in the wake of massive economic and ecological changes. In addition, he functions as the director of the university’s Niagara Community Observatory, a public policy think tank and research center specializing in economic, environmental, and social issues.
Dr. Conteh studied public policy and administration at McMaster University, graduating with a doctor of philosophy. During his career in academia, he has received several professional honours, including the inaugural Faculty Distinguished Researcher Award, distributed by the Brock University Faculty of Social Sciences to recognize ongoing excellence in research. He was a finalist for the 2014 Ontario Speaker’s Book Award.
